The Customisation Process
Phase 1
1. Let’s understand what you want……it’s detailed – but it’s the foundations of a sucessful customisation.
2. Deposit for Phase 1.
3. Rider provides objectives and details.
A. Rider physique – Rider key body measurements are Bike Fitting service can also be offered (utilising software to optimise rider positioning based on data benchmarked across many riders and fitting techniques);
B. Primary objective of bike – For instance, road, gravel, time trial
C. Regulations – UCI Rules other standards;
D. Bike handling and Riding Style: Stability/ Responsiveness – Wheelbase; Trail, BB Drop.
E. Practicality – Fit into travel bags;
4. Rider selects components. This is key to confirm total bike geometry particularly with regard to optimal tyre sizing.
5. Initial Plan is prepared with computer software integrating rider physique, frame geometry and component selection.
6. Rider fit is confirmed with animation and key interfaces are confirmed – saddle height, pedal clearance on lean, stand-over height, toe overlap etc.
Phase 2
7. Deposit for Phase 2
8. Detailed frame fabrication plan is prepared is prepared from the Initial Plan. Customer signs off on the fabrication plan.
9. Frame goes into production and components are procured.
Phase 3
10. Deposit for Phase 3.
11. Custom painting and/ or powder coating as required.
12. Bike build – utilising the customer selected components to ensure that they are fully integrated and work together.
13. Rider fit is confirmed on the fully assembled bike.
14. Customisation complete!
Phase 4
15. Ride! Life is a journey, travel it well. Drift. Discover. Delight.
